At ITS -- Intermodal Transportation Services, Inc. -- we enjoy a reputation for excellence, which we are proud of. ITS has earned the confidence and trust of our clients due to superior service, plus the extensive knowledge and expertise of all our personnel.

In 1979, ITS was formed as an international marine service company, and today, operates as a subsidiary of the SGS Group. SGS is the world's largest international third-party inspection, testing and verification organization, with affiliates in over 140 countries.

In 1996, ITS created a domestic Marine Surveying Division to complement its already substantial marine surveying presence in Europe, Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union.

This division has since grown to become the largest full-service marine surveying company in the United States, with surveyors in strategic port locations and hub cities throughout the country. Our domestic Marine Surveying Division also works in partnership with ITS' Marine Services in Europe and the former Soviet Union, including other SGS offices, to effectively provide comprehensive services worldwide.
